The concept for this amp was a no-frills, low
priced, high quality low power practice amp. The FRENZEL JF-5E1 "Champ Pro" has all those features....plus a lot
more. It can be even be used for small venues or miked through the PA for larger venues....and it has a post-output
transformer Line Out jack that can be used to drive a larger power amp. For you guys with solid-state amps...the Champ Pro
will drive your solid state and give you great vintage tube tones. . For those late night sessions, you
can unplug the speaker and use headphones in the Line Out jack. The internal load will protect the amp and give you
speaker simulated tones. Another feature is that the Champ Pro is easy to use...just plug and play! No tone
stack adjustments.....just a volume control. You can use your guitar volume and tone controls to get your unique clean
and overdrive levels and then set the amp Volume control for the desired playing level. The Champ Pro comes with our
multi-valve output tube circuit that allows you to use a wide variety of output tubes. It will amaze you with its warm
vintage 60's Fender Champ blues tones ....and of course, it is loaded with all the features that the Frenzel amps are
famous for.

Input and Output Jacks -
Isolated from the chassis for low noise, eddy currents, and hum.
Star Ground Circuit - to reduce induced current

Line Out Jack - Post output transformer LINE OUT with LINE OUT LEVEL control for driving a higher
power amp, or for using this amp as a tube preamp/overdrive. Auto switching internal load if speaker is not connected
to give you loaded output distortion. NOTE: Also great for using headphones!

- 12AX7 EH known for low noise and linearity. You may also use a 12AT7 or 12AU7 for different tones and overdrive.

Tube - 6V6 Class A single-ended....but the bias is optimized using the FRENZEL Multi-Valve design which allows you to use
a variety of octal based 6K6,6L6, 5881, KT77, KT88, 6550 type tubes in the output stage without adjusting anything.

Tube - 5Y3....but you can use a 5U4,5AR4, or Solid Slate Plug-In rectifier to adjust the amount of sag you
want.
