Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by to look at our amps! My name
is Jim Frenzel. I built my first tube amp in 1952 and I was hooked. After that I had a five decade engineering career that
included designing tube and solid state equipment for the US Army Signal Corps, US Air Force, US Navy, CIA, FAA, and many
large companies such as Collins Radio, Rockwell, Raytheon and Texas Instruments. In addition to my electrical engineering
career, I have always had a passion for music and for the tones that only the vintage tube amps can produce. I started Frenzel
Tube Amps as a part time retirement business in 2001 with the goal to build high quality vintage tube amps at affordable prices,
and now, thanks to all of our fantastic friends and customers, it has grown into a full time business. Everyone at Frenzel
is a master craftsman, loves their work and loves music. My three son's are all design engineers as well as musicians...and
excuse me if I brag a bit.....fantastic guitar players! With their help and a lot of input from our "tone freak"
friends, over the last few years we have designed, built, and repaired thousands of tube amps for musicians all
over the world. But even though we have grown, each
amp is still hand-built and hand-wired by dedicated and skilled craftsmen who love and take pride in their work.
Quality is our most important product so we build everything in-house at the "Best Little Tube Amp Factory" in Texas! I hope

We manufacture a large variety of amps. They
have a lot of of upgrade options and we can configure them to suit your individual requirements. Many of our amps come standard as open chassis amps. This gives you the option to build your own custom cabs and save

Design Concepts...
Our amps are very unique and of the highest quality.
They were inspired by classic 50's - 60's tube amps designs that create the 'TONES YOU KNOW' plus they have many added
features not found in vintage amps which allows you the player to create your own individual tones!
All of our amps are
point-to-point hand wired with no printed circuits, or terminal boards. It takes longer to build an amp that way, but the
end result is worth it. We think of our amps as works of art. Great care is taken in the routing of the wiring and
placement of parts. (See the Wiring Pictures Page for examples of our wiring.) Only the best of parts....low
noise polypropylene capacitors, metal film resistors, Switchcraft jacks, ceramic sockets, non-magnetic
aluminum chassis, premium long-life transformers and high grade hook-up wire. All tubes are prescreened for noise, hum and
tested for optimum performance before insertion in the amp. Before shipping, each amp is tested
extensively on the bench and on speakers. This attention to detail produces an amp that will last for generations!

Affordable Prices....
All of our amps have their prices listed on
the description page. We are oftened asked why our amps are so inexpensive compared to other name-brand boutique type
amps. The answer is ...we are a small company and have very low overhead...plus we sell direct to the customer....there
is no middle man or dealer mark up....and finally, we do not stock any amps and thus have large amounts of money tied up in
inventory. All of our amps are custom built to order. This allows the customer to choose only the options he wants and
thereby control the price. All of these reasons allow us to build affordable high-quality tube amplifiers that
will outperform and outlast any of the "re-issue" namebrand type amps now being mass produced in China.

Read our reviews! Quality is our most important product so we handbuild and handwire everything in-house at our factory in
Texas! When we ship an amp it will meet or exceed the customers expectation. We guarantee our amps unconditionally including
component parts and labor for one year. This does not include tubes. Our tube warranty is 90 days which is the
same warranty that we receive from our supplier.
