Overview:

 

The Frenzel JF-6G15  "Tube Reverb Preamp"  is part of our "Inspired" line of products inspired by the vintage 50's - 60's amps with the "TONES YOU KNOW.. It is designed to easily plug into either the input jack or the effects loop of  your amp and  give your amp those great classic Fender tube driven  tank coil reverb tones!  The unit is designed for maximum flexibility.  It provides two separate signal paths, one for the normal signal and one for the reverb signal.  The reverb signal is added in by adjusting the MIX control and can be turned on or off by a footswitch. 


Standard Features:

  • Input and Output Jacks isolated from chassis for low noise, eddy currents, and hum. 

  • DC on filaments for low 60 hz hum.  

  • Accutronic reverb tank coil for those vintage mellow and warm reverb tones. 

  • Footswitch Pedal - turns Reverb signal on and off

  • Dwell Control – sets level of reverb and gain of preamp

  • Tone Control – sets tone response.

  • Mix Control – adjust mix of normal and reverb signals.

  • Level Control – adjust output to match input level requirements of amp of effects loop.

  • Star ground system to reduce induced current chassis noise.

  • Standard IEC plug-in three prong grounded power cord.  

  • Classic Chicken Head Knobs, Toggle Switch and Pilot Light

  • Rock solid point-to-point hand wiring using only the best of parts...low noise tubular polypropylenes caps, metal film resistors, Micalex sockets, Neutrik jacks...etc.
